CODE OF CONDUCT
The following apply to all members of the
school community.
Everyone has the right to be able to work
and learn. We have a responsibility to be
ready to work hard together for the whole
day. In particular, this means that:
We will arrive on time for lessons.
We will bring the right books and equipment to each lesson.
We will behave in ways that help other people to work
effectively.
We will make sure that homework is completed, handed in on time
and
marked promptly.
Everyone has the right to be valued as a
person and treated with fairness and respect
at all times. We have a responsibility to
care about the school community and respect
and look after one another. In particular,
this means that:
We will comply with reasonable requests.
We will not use language which draws attention to differences
amongst us as
members of the school or the wider community.
We will respect other peoples property.
Everyone has the right to feel safe from
physical or verbal threat or attack. In
particular this means that:
We will not tolerate bullying, either physical or verbal.
We will not swear at each other.
In the school buildings and the grounds we will not behave in a
way that puts
people in danger.
Everyone has the responsibility to keep the
buildings and grounds neat, tidy and litter-
free.
In particular this means that:
We will do all we can to prevent the spread of litter.
We will not chew gum or eat in classrooms or corridors.
We will not smoke in the buildings or grounds.
We will not spit.
We will not write graffiti.
